Native American Courting Flute

The Native American flute is a one octave instrument in the pentatonic scale. This is one of the easier instruments to play because the mouth piece is very similar to the recorder and sound is created by blowing into the hole at the top of the flute. The Native American flute has a five holed tuning pattern with a low profile wind tunnel for easy transit. The sound is quiet and soothing making this instrument great for meditation like music. This flute is offered in the keys of G, F, F#, D, and C. The body is made of bamboo with a cedar wood channel.
